Dr. Ahmet A. Celebi, DDS, MSc, Ph.D
Dr. Ahmet A. Celebi loves being able to meet patients every day while helping them achieve better oral health through exceptional and reliable care. With more than 15 years of experience in orthodontics and several years in different universities as a Professor, Department Chair, and Dean, he has also authored over 50 scientific and clinical articles and abstracts. He believes that an individual’s overall health and self-esteem start from the mouth, and he focuses on achieving a balance between teeth and facial structures by providing wonderful smiles. Why Did You Decide to Become an Orthodontist?
It was always crucial for Dr. Celebi to find a career that he enjoyed while also providing help to others. He wanted a profession where every day would be equally challenging and fulfilling. The intersection of science and the creative arts was also fascinating to him—both of which are prominent in the field of orthodontics. Providing orthodontic care allows him to implement his artistic, technical, and problem-solving skills to create functional, ideal smiles while also improving the lives of people in his community. For him, being an orthodontist is truly the perfect career.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Celebi is an internationally recognized orthodontist with having “double orthodontic certificate.” He earned his second-time specialty in orthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He then received his dental degree in 2004 and Ph.D. in Orthodontics in 2013. His memberships include the American Association of Orthodontics, the World Federation of Orthodontics, and the Southern Association of Orthodontics.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Whenever he isn’t at the office helping patients straighten their pearly whites, Dr. Celebi spends his days with his lovely wife and their two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling to national parks all over the United States as well as fishing, camping, swimming, making new friends, playing/watching basketball and soccer, going overseas, and visiting family as much as possible.
